We want everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we do
- Text and backgrounds meet the AA contrast ratios. Our brand colours were chosen with those ratios in mind.
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip straight to the content.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels, so screen readers can move through them.
- Illustrations that carry no information are hidden from screen readers; those that do are described.
- Moving elements stay still if your device is set to reduce motion.
- The site works at any width, from a phone to a large screen, and with text enlarged to 200 percent.
We check each change to the site with automated accessibility tests before it is published.
